A friend of mine recently published a new book titled Innocent Perception. A New Lens for Healing.

The insights developed in Spirit-Centered Healing have come from his own spiritual journey which began in my early 20s when he was touched in a powerful way by the writings of Christian mystics. This led to him entering a Christian form of monastic life from 1968 to 2000.
While in monastic life, he was involved in inter-religious dialogue. Steven studied and practice meditation as taught in the Eastern and Western traditions. He also participated in giving Christian/Zen retreats for a number of years at his monastery. He felt guided to leave monastic life to search out a path of healing work because of his own need to heal from early traumatic experiences of childhood.
This has been a long journey of 20+ years, which has culminated in the writing of his book.
